HOW-TO INSTALL EGGDROP ?

How to setup a bouncer/psybnc:

  1. Download putty program from http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/download.html
  2. Open Putty.exe
    1. Protocol: SSH
    2. Hostname(or IP address): ip.of.my.server.com
    3. Port: 22
  3. When it's going to connect something like "login as" will appear that means you must write your username your shell provider gave you.
  4. Then something like "Password" that means you must type the password your shell provider gave you with the user
  5. Type wget http://www.psybnc.info/download/beta/psyBNC-2.3.2-7.tar.gz (more releases http://www.psybnc.info/download.html)
  6. In SSH type tar zxvf psyBNC-2.3.2-7.tar.gz and then cd psybnc or cd psyBNC-2.3.2-7
  7. Type ./configure and wait to install
  8. Type ./psybnc

Open your mirc put the necessary ident and connect to your psybnc/bouncer with the port entered in psybnc.conf and type /addserver eu.underne.org (more servers www.undernet.org/servers.php) and then type /bvhost [vhost] (contact your shell admin to give you a list with vhosts).
