#Cyprus On The Undernet IRC Network!: About #Cyprus

#Cyprus was registered on January 29th, 1996 by @Aeras. The current channel manager now is @AndreasC. Ten years later we are one of the top 5 largest channels on the IRC Undernet Network with more than 450 users at peak hours. In order to make #Cyprus a Fun and Safe channel we have about 13 operators (ops). Their purpose is to guard the channel against flooders and abusive users, and at the same time help users with IRC related problems. A list of the channel operators can be found at the "Operators" link.

#Cyprus is here for everybody, at any Age, Anywhere in the World. A great way to make new friends, contact family and others.

The web team is responsible for authoring and updating this webpage. The #Cyprus Web Team consists of the following members:

Bots Team - bots@cyprusirc.net
The bots team is responsible for maintaining the bots (robots) of the channel. Issues regarding the bots are a job for the bots team and no ones else.The #Cyprus Bots Team consists of the following members:

Abuse Team - abuse@cyprusirc.net
The Abuse Team is the team responsible on storing any kind of abuse done in the channel. Abuse from users is stored in a database and sent to the abuse@undernet.org mailing list for further investigation. Also members added in the abuse teams database are not allowed to get the Op Status in #Cyprus.The #Cyprus Abuse Team consists of the following members:
